Old Columban Society
Introduction
The Old Columban Society has over 2,500 members around the world. Founded in 1909, it keeps members in touch with each other and the College. We publish the annual Old Columban Bulletin, containing much news of OCS and the College. We regularly organise social occasions in the College and elsewhere, and also award an annual Scholarship, available to children of OCs, who are all entitled to a discount on College fees. In recent times there have been parties and dinners in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Belfast, London and Berlin.
The officers of the Society are : the President, the Honorary Secretary, the Honorary Treasurer and the Editor of the Bulletin. They are supported by a Committee of up to 15 members. The Annual General Meeting is held every May or June in Dublin.
If you attended the College, but are not a member of the Society and would like to join, please contact us via the contact form under 'OCS Contact'. The life subscription for those who did not join on leaving the school is on a sliding scale.
If you are you an Old Columban and wish to join the OCS members' directory, then please register here. Existing members, please sign in with your username and password using the form on the right.
