TY Academic Prize evening

Out of an original twenty submissions five were chosen to be put forward for the TY academic prize this year. This demonstrates the depth of talent in this form and the five candidates were uniformly praised on the quality of their research and on the presentation of their work. The judge, former member of staff and current principal of Temple Carrig School, awarded the prize to Anna Janssen-Heidenfeld and commended the others on their splendid effort.

The candidates and their topics were:

Anna Janssen-Heidenfeld - Women in ISIS

Ivan Moffitt - Designer Babies

Nyla Jamieson - Malaria
