National Scratch Competition

This year the form IV Computer Studies class participated in the National Scratch Programming competition.  We had 6 group entries and for the third year in a row one of our entries was selected to compete at the Finals in the RDS during Tech Week.  Eva Perez Sanchez and Carlota Carrasco Floran created an interactive story of their year in St Columba's and drew some very creative characters which they animated using the coding program.  Each of these characters had a number of different costumes, for example the main character Blanka had 15 different costumes.

Out of approximately 800 entries Eva and Carlota won the award for best animation.  Their project can be found on the MIT Scratch website
