Gala Concert 2012

The gala concert on Saturday evening was a very enjoyable event where the audience were treated to some exceptional musical performances. Eamonn Mulhall, one of Ireland's leading tenors and a voice teacher at the College, was the guest soloist this year. He sang his pieces with great musicality and character. In the finale he joined with the festival choir to sing Per Te d'Immenso Guibilo  from Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor  which left all participants and auditeurs well satisfied. A raffle was held in aid of Dublin's Simon Community and thanks go to the Parents Association and Sodexo for their sponsorship of the reception afterwards. Congratulations go to the organising committee of Marie Haslett, Julian Girdham, Amanda Morris and of course Geraldine Malone Brady for producing such a memorable occasion.
